On stage, backstage or behind the scenes, the Mikadow is built by people who want to create something together. Whether you’re an experienced performer or trying theatre for the first time, there are ways to get involved.
AUDITIONS
Your next role could start here.
The Mikadow holds open auditions throughout the year for our live theatre productions. Auditions vary by show and may include readings from the script, prepared material, music or movement depending on the production.
No Mikadow experience required.
New performers and familiar faces are welcome to audition.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Auditions at the Mikadow are closed auditions. Only the production team and the person or people currently auditioning are in the audition room. Friends, family members and other auditioners do not observe your audition.
Depending on the production, you may be asked to read from the script, sing, move or complete other material selected by the creative team. Specific audition requirements will always be included with the audition announcement.
Come prepared, but don't worry about having everything figured out. We want to see what you bring to the role.
BACKSTAGE & TECHNICAL
There’s more than one way to make the magic happen.
Every Mikadow production comes to life through the people working both onstage and behind the scenes. Whether you already have experience or want to learn something new, there are opportunities to become part of the production team.
